Met Rico along his journey through Cambodia. He was brace enough to try a scorpion and let me try a bit of snake. To anyone that has previously met Rico along his travels and to those in the future, I hope he brings you as many smiles and laughs as he has managed to bring me in Siem Reap. Safe travels ?

While biking to Ke Ga from Mui Ne I passed by this guy on the road and thought he was a local because he was covered up but it didn’t seem like it because he was tall. Hmmm..He was walking and hauling everything with him on a 2 wheel cart and he didn’t have a backpack like most travellers. I stopped at a restaurant to eat lunch and he happened to stop there as well.

Apparently this guy „Rico“ WALKED ALL THE WAY FROM GERMANY TO VIETNAM in 2 years. So far he’s walked 14,000 kms/8,699 miles. 17 countries (?)..He’s heading south then going to Cambodia. I thought cyclists were hardcore but this is super badass! I was thinking to myself WTF.. I can’t even believe it. He has one more year to go he says but who knows

Xí Quách / VIETNAM

I must say this is the most amazing guest we’ve ever hosted so far! Rico Reißmann from Germany WALKS AROUND THE WORLD, he has been to 17 countries for 2 years now and he hasn’t stopped yet! 3 more years to go and this guy walks thru Vietnam from the North, now he heads to Saigon and Cambodia or maybe Mekong Delta:)

Thank you for coming, RICO! Your story is really inspiring:) We can see some people travel over the world by bike or motorbike but very few or maybe you are the first to walk around the world! Happy New Year, wish you all of the good health, lots of luck and always keep your passion like this:) Cheers♥
